Lavender Rose Bouquet

  • Product Description

Choose from 12, 18 or 24 long stem lavender roses with elegant greens.

One of the most romantic ways to present flowers is with a hand-tied bouquet.

The French tradition of gathering and tying flowers produces a bouquet with a look that is more natural and organic and less arranged.

No two Blooming Scents bouquets are ever the same, each is unique but each reflects our cool Blooming Scents vibe!

Don't forget to add your free personalised message at checkout so your loved one knows who to thank.

All messages are hand written in a full size gift card to suit your occasion

    About our flowers

Our Florist bouquets are expertly hand-tied and packed with care to keep your gift fresh on its journey.

Some flowers will arrive in bud, meaning that the petals haven’t yet bloomed.

This helps protect more delicate flower varieties during their gift journey and helps extend the vase life of the bouquet.

    After care

For a longer-lasting display, trim an inch off the stems and place in fresh, lukewarm water with flower food supplied.

This arrangement will make a wonderful display for 7 days but to help extend the vase-life, always follow the detailed care instructions included.

    Seasonal availability

At Blooming Scents, we pride ourselves on supplying quality flowers which have been sourced with care from trusted growers.

Due to seasonal availability, we reserve the right to substitute goods or packaging of equal quality and value.

    • The photos reflect an example of our standard hand-tied bouquet.

These few simple tasks will reward you with pretty flowers for longer!

    1. Place flowers in a clean container,.

A clean container that is sanitized and free of debris will keep the flowers from premature aging and the stems from getting clogged, which will result in better water intake.

    2. Cut about 1/2 an inch off the stems at an angle before placing in water.

The stems of the flowers most likely dried out some during their journey to your home, exposing fresh tissue will help them be able to take up water better.  Be sure to use clean and sharp scissor or pruners for a clean cut.

    3.  Don't be afraid to fill the container up with water!

The flowers get pretty thirsty; this is especially true for the first couple of days.  Upon arrival, place flowers in a full vase of water.  Be sure to check water level twice a day, especially the first two days.  Our flowers are cut and delivered very fresh, therefore still very much alive and thirsty!

    4. Strip any foliage that will sit below the water line.

Foliage sitting in the water will rot and make the flowers in turn rot.  Plus, it makes the water icky and stinky, keeping the water foliage-free will keep the water clear and fresher longer.

    5. Don't place flowers in direct sunlight or heat.

The sunlight will signal the flowers to further mature resulting in less of a vase life.

    6. Don't place flowers near ripening fruit or vegetables, such as bananas or apples.

The release of ethylene from the fruits/veggies can affect the flowers and cause them to wilt and wither away much faster.

    7. Refresh water often!

Give them fresh water at least every 2-3 days.

    8. Re-cut the stems when you change the water.

This goes back to exposing that fresh tissue for better water intake.

    9. Use flower food and preservative.

We will provide flower food packets with the bouquets

    10. Enjoy!

The flowers are lovingly grown for your enjoyment!  Take in all their intoxicating scents and simply enjoy their beauty.
